בספר יצירה המליך אות צ' בלעוטה וקשר לו כתר וכו' וצר בו דלי בעולם ושבט בשנה וקורקבן בנפש זו"נ ע"כ אמרו התוכניים הראשונים כי מזל דלי הוא מזל ישראל (הגם דקי"ל אין מזל לישראל היינו שישראל ע"י מעשיהן בתורה הופכין שפיטת המזל לכל אשר יחפצו אבל עכ"פ בתולדה יש להן מזל עיין בגמ' שבת) והנה י"ל דלבעבור זה דל"י הוא מזלו של ישראל. כי דלי עשוי לשאוב בו מי"ם וזה פעולתו. והנה הוא משמש אל המים ואין מים אלא תורה כמד"א הוי כל צמא לכו למים להורות על האמור דמזלו של ישראל הוא עבד משמש אל התורה והגם ששפיטת המזל מחייב באיזה אופן וכו' הנה עסק התורה ומצות יתהפך הכל לטוב ולכל אשר יחפוצו יטו את המזל כיון שמזלן הוא עבד משמש אל התורה. ותבין לפ"ז מה שדרשו רז"ל אצל העבד הנאמן של אברהם אבינו (שהוא היה הראשון ראש יחוסינו שהגביהו הקב"ה למעלה מן המזלות הנה עבדו זקן ביתו דרשו עליו בפסוק ובן משק ביתי היא דמשק אליעזר) דול"ה ומשקה מתורת רבו לאחרים ונרמז הדבר אצל העבד להורות על הנ"ל שע"כ מזל דל"י הוא מזלן של ישראל כי הדלי הוא עבד משמש אל המים זו תורה והעבד אין לו רצון בעצמו כ"א רצון האדון כמ"ש החסיד בחו"ה הבן הדבר:
In Sefer Yetzirah (5:10) it is written: “He made the letter Tzadik king over taste And He bound a crown to it... And with them He formed Aquarius in the Universe Shevat in the Year And the Korkeban in the Soul Male and female.” The early commentators taught that the constellation of the Bucket (Aquarius) is the constellation of Israel. And even though we have learned, “there is no constellation for Israel,” meaning Israel overturn the judgement of the constellation through their actions and Torah learning, nonetheless they do have a constellation concerning their time of birth (See Shabbat 156a). And one could say that the bucket is the constellation of Israel because the bucket is made to draw water, and this is its function. See, it handles and serves with the water. And “there is no water but Torah” (Bava Kamma 17a), as it is written: “Ho, all who are thirsty, Come for water” (Is. 55:1). This teaches that the constellation of Israel is a servant handling and serving with the Torah. And even if the judgement of the constellation obligates [i.e. burdens] one in a certain [negative] way, through engaging with Torah and mitzvot, everything is turned to good. And the constellation will incline towards everything they want, for their constellation is a servant serving the Torah. And you will understand through this what our Sages taught about the faithful servant of Abraham, our father, that he was the very first of those connected to us, and the blessed Holy One raised him higher than the constellations (see Gen. 15:5 with Rashi). The verse “his servant, the elder of his household” (Gen. 24:2), they explain with, “he one in charge of my household is Dammesek Eliezer!” (Gen. 15:2), meaning that he draws [doleh] and gives drink [mashke] to others from his master’s Torah (Yoma 28b). And this is alluded by [the name of Abraham's] servant to teach the above, that the bucket is the constellation of Israel, for the bucket is a servant, serving the water, which is Torah. And the servant has no will of their own, rather only the will of their master, as the pious one wrote in Obligations of the Heart (Gate of Divine Service, ch. 4-5). And understand this matter.
В Сефер Йецира сказано: «Воцарил букву Цади над глотанием, и повязал ей венец, и т.д., и создал ею Водолея в мире, и Шват в году, и желудок в теле мужского и женского начал». Поэтому древние астрономы говорили, что созвездие Водолея — это созвездие Израиля (хотя установлено, что «нет созвездия для Израиля», это означает, что Израиль посредством своих дел в Торе способен изменить влияние созвездия в любую сторону по своему желанию, но всё же по природе у них есть созвездие — см. Гмара Шабат). И вот, можно сказать, что именно потому Водолей (Дли — ведро) является созвездием Израиля: ведь ведро создано для того, чтобы черпать воду, — в этом его назначение. И вот, оно служит воде, а вода — это не что иное, как Тора, как сказано: «Эй, все жаждущие, идите к водам!» Это указывает на сказанное: созвездие Израиля — слуга, служащий Торе. И хотя влияние созвездия предопределяет нечто определённым образом, занятие Торой и заповедями обращает всё к добру, и они могут направить созвездие в любую сторону по своему желанию, поскольку их созвездие — слуга, служащий Торе. И по этому принципу ты поймёшь то, что толковали наши мудрецы, благословенна их память, о верном слуге Авраама-праотца (который был первым, главой нашей родословной, ибо Святой, благословен Он, возвысил его над созвездиями; а о его слуге, старейшине его дома, толковали стих «и сын управления домом моим — Дамесек Элиэзер»): он «черпал и поил» учением своего господина других людей. И этот намёк о слуге дан, чтобы указать на вышесказанное: потому созвездие Водолея является созвездием Израиля, что Дли — это слуга, служащий воде, то есть Торе. А у слуги нет собственной воли, но лишь воля господина, как написал благочестивый автор в «Ховот а-Левавот». Пойми это.
