וְאִם, חַס וְשָׁלוֹם, נַעֲשָׂה הַדָּבָר אֶצְלוֹ כְּמוֹ הֶפְקֵר, שֶׁאֵינוֹ מְקַבֵּל עַל עַצְמוֹ לְהִשָּׁמֵר מִמֶנּוּ, (ג) עוֹבֵר עוֹד עַל אָרוּר שְׁלִישִׁי וְהוּא (דברים כ"ז כ"ו): "אָרוּר אֲשֶׁר לֹא יָקִים אֶת דִּבְרֵי הַתּוֹרָה הַזֹּאת לַעֲשׂוֹת אוֹתָם", שֶׁפֵּרוּשׁוֹ אֲשֶׁר לֹא יְקַבֵּל עַל עַצְמוֹ לְקַיֵּם אֶת כָּל התּוֹרָה, וְהוּא נִקְרָא מוּמָר (ד) לְדָבָר אֶחָד עַל יְדֵי זֶה, כֵּיוָן שֶׁבִּשְׁאָט נֶפֶשׁ עוֹבֵר עַל אִסוּר הֶחָמוּר הַזֶּה, וְהוּא מַחֲזִיק דָּבָר זֶה שֶׁל תּוֹרַת ה' אֶצְלוֹ לְהֶפְקֵר, כְּמוֹ שְׁאָר מוּמָר לְכָל הַתּוֹרָה כֻּלָּהּ, וְעַל כֵּן גָּדוֹל עֲוֹנוֹ מִנְּשֹא. הֲרֵי חִשַּׁבְנוּ ג' אֲרוּרִין הַמְצוּיִין לָבוֹא עַל יְדֵי מִדָּה רָעָה הַזּוֹ.
(3) And if (G–d forbid) this matter becomes hefker [inconsequential] to him, so that he does not take it upon himself to guard himself from it, he transgresses further a third arur (Devarim 27:26): "Cursed is he who does not fulfill the words of this Torah to do them," which is understood as his not accepting it upon himself to fulfill the entire Torah. And he is called a "mumar [heretic] in respect to one thing" because of this — gratuitously transgressing this grave issur, regarding this article of the Torah of the L–rd as hefker — being like any other "mumar in respect to the entire Torah." Therefore, his sin is too great to forgive. We have thus enumerated three arurin which are often attendant upon this evil trait.
(3) Если, упаси Боже, дело стало для него вседозволенным, и он не принимает на себя остерегаться от этого, — он подпадает ещё под третье проклятие (Дварим 27:26): «Проклят, кто не исполнит слов Торы сей, чтобы делать их». Это означает: проклят тот, кто не принимает на себя исполнять всю Тору. И он называется (4) «мумар» (отступник) в одном деле, поскольку с пренебрежением нарушает этот тяжкий запрет и считает это установление Торы Господней вседозволенным, подобно прочим отступникам от всей Торы. Поэтому велик его грех сверх меры. Итого мы насчитали 3 проклятия, которые обычно обрушиваются из-за этого дурного качества.
