וְאַחַר שֶׁחִיְּבָנוּ לְהַאֲמִין וּלְקַבֵּל שְׁלֹשָׁה הָעִנְיָנִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר זָכַרְנוּ נֶעְתַּק מֵהֶם אֶל מָה שֶׁאָנוּ חַיָּבִין לְחַבֵּר אֲלֵיהֶם וְהוּא אַהֲבַת הָאֵל בְּלֵב שָׁלֵם בַּסֵּתֶר וּבַגָּלוּי בְּנַפְשֵׁנוּ וּבִמְאוֹדֵנוּ כְּמוֹ שֶׁאָמַר (שם) וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת ה׳ אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָל מְאֹדֶךָ וַאֲנִי עָתִיד לְבָאֵר הָעִנְיָן הַזֶּה בְּשַׁעַר אַהֲבַת הָאֵל בְּעֵזֶר הַצּוּר.
After He bid us to believe and accept these three principles we mentioned, He proceeded to what is incumbent on us to follow them with, namely, to love G-d wholeheartedly, in private and in public, with our life and with our might, as He said: "And you shall love the L-ord your G-d with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might" (Deut. 6:5). I intend to clarify this matter in the Gate of Love of G-d (Gate #10), with the Al-mighty's help.
И после того как Он обязал нас верить и принять эти три вопроса, которые мы упомянули, Он перешёл от них к тому, что мы обязаны присоединить к ним, — а именно: любовь к Б-гу в целостном сердце, в тайном и в явном, душой нашей и достоянием нашим, как сказано (там же): «И люби Г-спода, Б-га твоего, всем сердцем твоим, и всей душой твоей, и всем достоянием твоим». И я намерен разъяснить этот вопрос в разделе о любви к Б-гу с помощью Всевышнего.
