וּכְבָר פֵּרְשׁוּ בְּבַעֲלֵי אֲסֻפּוֹת בַּעֲלֵי הַחִבּוּרִים בְּהַסְתָּרַת ״דִּבְרֵי״ אֲשֶׁר בִּתְחִלַּת הַפָּסוּק וְהַטַּעַם וּכְמַסְמְרוֹת קְבוּעִים דִּבְרֵי בַּעֲלֵי אֲסֻפּוֹת כִּי הַסְּפָרִים הַמְחֻבָּרִים בְּמִינֵי הַחָכְמָה קַיָּמִים עוֹמְדִים אֵין תּוֹעַלְתָּם נִפְסֶקֶת וְעַל כֵּן דִּמָּה אוֹתָם לְמַסְמְרוֹת נְטוּעִים.
The phrase "Baale Asufoth" means, according to the commentators, compilers of books. The term "Divre" in the first half of the verse also applies to its second half; which should be rendered: "and like firmly fixed nails are the words of compilers". For books authored on the branches of wisdom endure, their benefit is without interruption (for all generations) and therefore they are compared to nails firmly fixed.
И уже истолковали "собранные" как составители сочинений, скрывая слово "слова", стоящее в начале стиха, и смысл таков: "и как вбитые гвозди — слова составителей сочинений". Ибо книги, составленные по различным видам мудрости, пребывают и стоят, и польза их не прекращается. Поэтому уподобил их вбитым гвоздям.
