אמר השכל – שפע - רצה לומר, מה שמגיע מן הבורא ית' אל נבראיו לעשות בם ענין מה. ואנחנו לא נבחינהו מצד הפועל, כי כבר לא נדע איך הקב"ה פועל; לא נבחינהו אלא מצד הנפעל. וכשיגיע מן הבורא ית' אל נברא כח וגבורה - תהיה ההשפעה ההיא השפעת גבורה, כי היה הרצון העליון בהשפעה ההיא - שתולד ממנה הגבורה; וכשתגיע חכמה - תהיה ההשפעה השפעת חכמה, וזה פשוט:
Said the Intellect - G-dly emanation - means to say, that which reaches from the Creator may He be blessed to his creations in order to do something with them. And we cannot differentiate it from the aspect of the actor, for we doe not know how the Holy One blessed is He acts; we cannot differentiate it other than from the aspect of the one acted upon. And when Power [Koach] and Strength [Gevurah] reaches from the Creator may He be blessed to the creation this G-dly emanation will be G-dly emanation of Strength, for it was the Heavenly will in this G-dly emanation- that the Strength be born from it; and when Wisdom [Chochma] reaches it - the G-dly emanation will be G-dly emanation of Wisdom, and this is straightforward:
Сказал Сехель — «шэфа» — то есть то, что достигает от Творца, да будет благословен, к Его творениям, чтобы произвести в них какое‑то действие. И мы не будем рассматривать его со стороны действующего, ибо мы уже не знаем, как Святой, благословен Он, действует; мы будем рассматривать его только со стороны претерпевающего (того, на кого воздействуют). И когда от Творца, да будет благословен, приходит к творению сила и могущество — это влияние будет влиянием могущества, ибо высшая воля в этом влиянии была — чтобы из него родилось могущество; а когда приходит мудрость — это влияние будет влиянием мудрости, и это очевидно:
נדבר על נדון דידן, על הטובות והרעות, אנחנו רואים היוולד הטוב והרע בעולם, איך את חושבת שהם נשפעים?
Let us discuss their matter at hand, regarding the goodness and the negativity, we see the birth of good and the negative in the world, who do you think they emanate?
Поговорим о нашем предмете, о благах и бедствиях (добре и зле): мы видим, как в мире рождаются добро и зло; как ты думаешь, как они изливаются (нисходят)?
