הפרש בין כניסת הנשמה בעובר וכניסתה בתחיה: ואולם צריך שתדע כי גם עתה בהכנס הנשמה בגוף העובר אעפ״י שלא קנתה עדין שלימות במעשיה הנה מצד יקרה וזוהרה העצמי היה ראוי שתתן זיכוך גדול לחומר עד שיהיה יוצא מגדר המין האנושי. אמנם גזירתו ית׳ כובשת אותה ומעלמת כחה וממעטת זוהרה באופן שלא ימשך ממנה ענין זה אבל תשב שמה לוטה בעצמה באותו השיעור המצטרך לפי הכונה העליונה ופועלת בגוף באותו הסדר והשיעור הנרצה מחכמתו ית׳. והנה כפי מעשיה הטובים שעושה והולכת היה לה להתפשט ולהזדהר כמ״ש ואז היה מגיע ממנה הזיכוך לגוף ואמנם לפי הגזירה שביארנו למעלה לא יתכן לה זה אלא בהיותה בעולם הנשמות אכן בשובה בגוף אחר התחיה לא תתמעט ולא תתעלם אלא תכנס בכל זהריה ובכל כחה ואז מיד תזכך את הגוף ההוא זיכוך גדול ולא יצטרך לו הגידול מעט מעט שצריך עתה לילדים. אלא מיד בשעתו תאיר בו ומיד תזככהו זיכוך גדול ואמנם לא ימנע זה שיהיו לגוף ולנשמה יחד עילוים אחר עילוים אבל הענין הוא שמיד בבוא הנשמה בגוף יהיה האדם ההוא יקר ונעלה וגופו יקבל מיד זיכוך ראשון יתעלה בו מכל מה שהיה כל ימי חייו הראשונים ויהיה הזיכוך ההוא כפי כל המעשים הטובים שעשה כבר וישים אותו במדריגה שראוי לו להיות בין הזוכים ליהנות בשלימות ואח״כ יתעלו שניהם עילוים אחר עילוים כפי מה שראוי למי שהוא במדריגה ההיא:
The difference between the entry of the soul into the embryo and its entry [into the body at the time of] the resurrection: However you need to know that even now, when the soul enters the body of the fetus - even though it has not yet acquired perfection through its deeds - surely from the angle of its internal preciousness and splendor, it would have been fitting that it give its great purification to the material [body] to the point that it would go away from being of the human specie. Nevertheless, His decree, may He be blessed, suppresses it and hides its power and reduces its splendor in such a way that this matter not come out from it. Rather it dwells there concealed in itself, according to that measure that is required according to the Highest Intention. And so it operates in the body according to that arrangement and measure that is required from His Wisdom, may He be blessed. And behold [likewise] according to its good deeds that it continuously does; it should have expressed itself and shined, as we have said, and then its purification would have reached the body. However according to the decree that we explained above, it is not possible for it [to do so] until it is in the world of souls. Nevertheless, when it returns to the body after the resurrection, it will not reduce itself nor hide, but rather enter [the body] with all of its splendor and all of its power. And then it will immediately purify the body [with] a great purification and it will not need a graduated growth, [as] is needed for children right now. Rather it will immediately make it shine at that time, and it will immediately purify it [with] a great purification. However this will not prevent the body and the soul together from having elevations and more elevations [at that time]. Rather the point is that immediately with the entry of the soul into the body, that man will be precious and elevated and his body will immediately receive [its] first purification. [And] it will be more elevated than all that it was during all the days of its first life. And that purification will be according to all of the good deeds that he already did. And they put him on a level that is appropriate for him, and he will be among those that merit to enjoy perfection. And afterwards, they will both be lifted by elevations and more elevations, according to that which is fitting for one who is on that [particular] level.
Различие между вхождением души в зародыш и вхождением при воскрешении: Необходимо знать, что и сейчас, когда душа входит в тело зародыша, хотя она ещё не обрела совершенства своими делами, — по своей сущностной драгоценности и сиянию ей подобало бы придать великое очищение материи, так что тело вышло бы за пределы человеческого рода. Однако Его определение, да будет Он благословен, сдерживает её и скрывает её силу, и умаляет её сияние, так что этого последствия от неё не происходит. Но она пребывает там, сокрытая в себе, в той мере, которая необходима согласно Высшему замыслу, и действует в теле в том порядке и в той мере, которые желательны Его мудрости, да будет Он благословен. И по мере добрых дел, которые она совершает, ей подобало бы распространяться и сиять, как мы сказали, и тогда от неё исходило бы очищение телу. Однако, согласно определению, которое мы разъяснили выше, это возможно для неё лишь пребывая в мире душ. Но при возвращении в тело после воскрешения она не будет умалена и не будет сокрыта, но войдёт со всеми своими лучами и всей своей силой, и тогда немедленно очистит то тело великим очищением. И не понадобится ему постепенный рост, который необходим теперь детям, но немедленно, в тот же час, она озарит его и немедленно очистит его великим очищением. Однако это не исключает того, что тело и душа вместе будут подниматься ступень за ступенью. Но суть в том, что немедленно с приходом души в тело тот человек станет драгоценным и возвышенным, и его тело немедленно получит первое очищение, которое возвысит его над всем, чем оно было во все дни его прежней жизни. И это очищение будет соответствовать всем добрым делам, которые он уже совершил, и поставит его на ту ступень, на которой ему подобает быть среди удостоившихся наслаждаться совершенством. А затем оба будут подниматься ступень за ступенью, как подобает тому, кто находится на этой ступени.
