הפרש בין כל הנביאים למשה רבינו ע"ה: הנה מדריגות הנבואה ע״ד כלל יתחלקו לב׳. אחת מדריגת כל הנביאים חוץ ממרע״ה והב׳ מדריגת מרע״ה. והקב״ה בעצמו חילקם בחילוק זה וביאר הבדלם בכתוב אם יהיה נביאכם ה׳ במראה אליו אתודע וכו׳ לא כן עבדי משה וכו׳:
The difference between all the [other] prophets and our teacher Moses, peace be upon him: More generally, prophecy is divided into two levels: The first is the level of all the prophets besides our teacher Moses, peace be upon him; and the second is the level of our teacher Moses, peace be upon him. And the Holy One, blessed be He, Himself divided them in this [way] and explained their difference in Scripture, (Numbers 12:6-7) "When a prophet of the Lord arises among you, I make Myself known to him in a vision, etc. Not so with My servant Moses, etc."
Различие между всеми пророками и Моше Рабейну, мир ему: Ступени пророчества в общем подразделяются на две: одна — ступень всех пророков, кроме Моше Рабейну, мир ему; вторая — ступень Моше Рабейну. Всевышний Сам провёл это разделение и разъяснил различие в Писании: "Если будет пророк ваш, Господь в видении явлюсь ему..." и т.д. "Не так раб Мой Моше..." и т.д. (Бемидбар 12:6-7).
