ועוד הבדל היה בין שאר הנביאים למשה ששאר הנביאים לא היה בידם להנבא בכל שעה אלא בשעה שהיה הבי״ת רוצה היה משרה שפעו עליהם ומתנבאים. אך משה הדבר היה תלוי ברצונו והיה מסור בידו להתקשר בו ית׳ ולהמשיך אליו הגילוי כפי הצורך. עוד שאר הנביאים לא היו משיגים אלא ענינים פרטים מה שהאדון ב״ה היה רוצה לגלות להם אך משה זכה שיגלו לו כל סדרי הבריאה וניתן לו רשות לחקור את הכל ולחפש הכל ונמסרו בידו כל המתפחות שנמסרו לבן אדם מעולם והוא משה״כ בכל ביתי נאמן הוא וכן נאמר אני אעביר כל טובי על פניך:
And another difference between the other prophets and Moses is that in was not in the hands of the other prophets to prophesy at any time. Rather, they would [only] prophesy at the time that the Creator, blessed be He, wanted to have His prophetic flow rest upon them. But [in the case of] Moses, the matter depended on his own will. And it was given over to his hands to connect with Him, may He be blessed, and to bring down revelation to himself whenever it was needed. Also the other prophets only received specific matters that the Master, blessed be He, wanted to reveal to them; whereas Moses merited that all the orders of creation be revealed to him. And permission was given to him to examine and to search everything; and all of the keys that were ever given to any people, were given to him. And this is what is stated by the verse (Numbers 12:7), "he is trusted in all My house." And it is likewise stated (Exodus 33:19), "I will make all My goodness pass before you."
Ещё одно различие было между прочими пророками и Моше: прочие пророки не могли пророчествовать в любой час, но лишь когда Всевышний желал — Он ниспосылал Своё изобилие на них, и они пророчествовали. Но для Моше дело зависело от его воли, и ему было вверено связываться с Ним, да будет Он благословен, и привлекать к себе откровение по мере надобности. Далее: прочие пророки постигали лишь частные вещи — то, что Господь, да будет Он благословен, желал им открыть. Но Моше удостоился того, что ему были открыты все порядки творения, и ему было дано право исследовать всё и искать всё, и ему были вверены все ключи, какие когда-либо были вверены человеку. Об этом сказано: "Во всём доме Моём он верен," а также: "Я проведу пред тобою всё благо Моё."
