עוד יבואר, ויהיו חיי שרה מאה שנה וכו'. נראה לפי שכל ימי חיי שרה היתה נדבקת תמיד להשם יתברך הוי"ה ברוך הוא וממנה היתה חיותה ולא מסיטרא וכו' חס ושלום. וזהו ויהיו פירוש שחיי שרה היה רק מויהיו, דהיינו משם הוי"ה ברוך הוא והבן:
An additional lesson to be derived from this unique verse in the Torah, is that seeing that during all her years she cleaved to the Holy name of Hashem, י-ה-ו-ה, this fact is hinted at when the Torah summarizes her life her by commencing with a word containing these letters of G’d’s name. She was conscious at all times that her life depended on that attribute of G’d and not, G’d forbid, on the side of the emanations known popularly as the sitra achara, “the left side.”
Ещё одно объяснение: «И было жизни Сары сто лет…» Представляется, что все дни жизни Сары она постоянно была прилеплена к Всевышнему, Имя ЙХВХ, благословен Он, и от Него происходила её жизненная сила, а не от другой стороны (ситра ахра), не дай Бог. Вот что означает «ваиию» (и было) — то есть жизнь Сары была исключительно от «ваиию», то есть от Имени ЙХВХ, благословен Он. Вдумайся в это.
