עשה לך רבטו. ובשביל גודל הקושי שבדבר, יעצו לנו חז"ל (אבות א, ו): "עשה לך רב וקנה לך חבר". דהיינו שהאדם יבחר לעצמו אדם חשוב ומפורסם שיהיה לו לרב, שממנו יוכל לבוא לעסק תורה ומצוות על מנת להשפיע נחת רוח ליוצרו.
“Assume for yourself a master”15. Due to the difficulty this presents, the sages have advised us to “Assume for yourself a master, acquire for yourself a friend” (tractate Avot 1:6), meaning that man should choose for himself an important, famous man as his rabbi to help him reach the point of engaging in the Torah and the commandments for the sake of giving satisfaction to his maker.
Сделай себе наставника. 15. Из-за великой трудности этого дела наши мудрецы посоветовали нам (Авот 1:6): «Сделай себе наставника и приобрети себе друга». То есть человек должен выбрать себе важного и известного человека, который будет ему наставником, и от него он сможет прийти к занятию Торой и заповедями с намерением доставить удовольствие Создателю.
