רַבִּים לוֹחֲמִים לִי מָרוֹם (תהילים נ״ו:ג׳), הַיְנוּ שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ שׂוֹנְאִים לְמַעְלָה בַּמָּרוֹם, וּכְמוֹ שֶׁאָמְרוּ רַבּוֹתֵינוּ זִכְרוֹנָם לִבְרָכָה (ע' סנהדרין מד: ובדף קג): כְּשֵׁם שֶׁיֵּשׁ צָרִים לְמַטָּה, כָּךְ יֵשׁ צָרִים מִלְמַעְלָה:
“For many are my adversaries, O Most High!” (Psalms 56:3)—that is, he has enemies in the World Above, on high.3 This is as our Sages, of blessed memory, taught: Just as there are tormentors in the World Below, there are tormentors in the World Above (Sanhedrin 44b and 103b).
«Ибо много у меня врагов, о Всевышний!» (Теилим 56:3) — то есть, есть у него враги в Верхнем Мире, наверху. Это, как учили наши Мудрецы, да будет благословенна их память: так же как есть мучители в Мире Нижнем, так есть мучители и в Мире Верхнем (Санhedрин 44b и 103b).
