עַל־יְדֵי הַנְּגִינָה אָדָם נִכָּר אִם קִבֵּל עָלָיו עֹל תּוֹרָה.
From the song [he sings] it is possible to tell if a person has accepted upon himself the yoke of Torah.
По песне [которую он поёт] можно узнать, принял ли человек на себя иго Torah/Тора.
וְסִימָן: בַּכָּתֵף יִשָּׂאוּ (במדבר ז׳:ט׳), וְדָרְשׁוּ רַבּוֹתֵינוּ זִכְרוֹנָם לִבְרָכָה (ערכין יא): אֵין יִשָּׂאוּ אֶלָּא לְשׁוֹן שִׁירָה, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר: שְׂאוּ זִמְרָה וּתְנוּ תֹף, וּמִקְרָא זֶה נֶאֱמַר בְּמַשָּׂא בְּנֵי קְהָת, שֶׁהָיוּ נוֹשְׂאִין בַּכָּתֵף אֶת הָאָרוֹן, הַיְנוּ בְּחִינַת עֹל תּוֹרָה:
This is the import of “on their shoulder yisa’u (they did carry)” (Numbers 7:9). Concerning this our Sages, of blessed memory, expounded: yiSA’U is nothing other than song, as is stated (Psalms 81:3), “SA’U (Raise up) a song and sound a timbrel” (Arakhin 11a). This verse appears in connection with the undertakings of the Kehatites, who hoisted the Ark onto their shoulders—this being the concept of the yoke of Torah.
В этом смысл сказанного: «на плече yisa’u (они несли)» (Числа 7:9). О этом наши Мудрецы, благословенной памяти, истолковали: yiSA’U — не что иное, как песнь, как сказано (Теилим/Псалмы 81:3): «SA’U (Вознесите) песнь и ударьте в тимпан» (Арахин 11а). Этот стих сказан в связи со служением кехатитов, которые поднимали Ковчег на плечи — а это и есть понятие ига Torah/Тора.
