ג וְצָרִיךְ לִרְאוֹת לְמַלֹּאת אֶת הַיָּדַיִם, שֶׁהִיא הָאֱמוּנָה, עַל־יְדֵי הֶאָרָה מִשִּׁבְעָה רוֹעִים, שֶׁהֵם כְּלָלִיּוּת שֶׁל כָּל מַנְהִיגֵי הַדּוֹר, בִּבְחִינַת (שמות כ״ט:ל״ה): שִׁבְעַת יָמִים תְּמַלֵּא יָדָם; כִּי הֵם רוֹעִים הָאֱמוּנָה לְתַקְּנָהּ וּלְהַשְׁלִימָהּ, וְעַל שֵׁם זֶה נִקְרָאִים רוֹעִים, עַל שֵׁם (תהלים לז): וּרְעֵה אֱמוּנָה;
3 . And one has to see to fill the hands, which are faith, with the illumination of the Seven Shepherds. They are the embodiment of all the leaders of the generation, as in (Exodus 29:35), “For seven days you shall fill their hands.” They tend the faith, to rectify and perfect it. This is why they are called shepherds, as in (Psalms 37:3), “… and shepherd faith.”
3. И нужно следить, чтобы наполнять руки, которые есть Эмуна, сиянием Семерых Пастырей. Они — воплощение всех руководителей поколения, как в (Шмот 29:35): «Семь дней наполняй их руки». Они пасут Эмуна, чтобы исправить и довести её до совершенства. Поэтому они называются пастырями, как в (Теилим 37:3): «…и паси Эмуна».
וְכָל עִקַּר אֱמוּנַת יִשְׂרָאֵל מַמְשִׁיכִין הֵם לְהַדּוֹר. וְזֶה בְּחִינַת (דברים ל״ג:ג׳): כָּל קְדֹשָׁיו בְּיָדֶךָ; שֶׁהֵם בְּחִינַת כְּלָלִיּוּת שֶׁל כָּל מַנְהִיגֵי הַדּוֹר. וְזֶה בְּחִינַת (הושע י״ב:א׳): וְעִם קְדוֹשִׁים נֶאֱמָן. וּמשֶׁה, שֶׁהוּא אֶחָד מִשִּׁבְעָה רוֹעִים, נִקְרָא עַל שֵׁם זֶה רָעֲיָא מְהֵימָנָא:
It is they who draw the essence of Jewish faith to the generation. This corresponds to (Deuteronomy 33:3), “All his holy ones are in Your hands”—for they are synonymous with the embodiment of all the generation’s leaders. And this corresponds to (Hoshea 12:1), “With the holy ones He is faithful.” And this is why Moshe, who is one of the Seven Shepherds, is called the Faithful Shepherd .
Именно они притягивают сущность еврейской Эмуна к поколению. Это соответствует (Дварим 33:3): «Все Его святые — в Твоих руках» — ибо они являются синонимом воплощения всех руководителей поколения. И это соответствует (Ошеа 12:1): «Со святыми Он верен». И потому Моше, который — один из Семерых Пастырей, называется Верным Пастырем <потому что он пасёт Эмуна>.
