אֲפִלּוּ הָרְחוֹקִים מִן הַצַּדִּיק, הֵם מְקַבְּלִין חִיּוּת וְהֶאָרָה מִן הַצַּדִּיק עַל־יְדֵי שֶׁמְּכַסֶּה עֲלֵיהֶם, כְּמוֹ הָאִילָן, שֶׁיֵּשׁ לוֹ עֲנָפִים וּקְלִפָּה וְעָלִין, וְכֻלָּם שׁוֹאֲבִין חִיּוּת מִן הָאִילָן, וְיֵשׁ עֲשָׂבִים שֶׁרְחוֹקִים מִן הָאִילָן, וְנִדְמֶה שֶׁאֵין מְקַבְּלִין חִיּוּת מֵהָאִילָן, וּבֶאֱמֶת גַּם הֵם מְקַבְּלִין חִיּוּת מִמֶּנּוּ, כִּי הָאִילָן מֵגֵן עֲלֵיהֶם וּמַצִּילָן מִן הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ,
Even those who are distant from the tzaddik receive vitality and light from him by means of his shading them. This is analogous to a tree, which has branches, bark and leaves; and they all draw life from the tree. There are also grasses that are distant from the tree, so that it seems as if they receive no vitality from the tree. But in truth, they too receive vitality from it, because the tree protects them and shades them from the sun.
Даже те, кто далёк от Цадика, получают от него жизненность и свет посредством того, что он осеняет их своей тенью. Это подобно дереву, у которого есть ветви, кора и листья; и все они черпают жизнь из дерева. Есть и травы, которые удалены от дерева так, что кажется, будто они не получают от дерева никакой жизненности. Но в истине и они получают от него жизненность, потому что дерево защищает их и осеняет от солнца.
כֵּן יֵשׁ אֵצֶל הַצַּדִּיק בְּחִינַת עָלִין וַעֲנָפִים וְכוּ', כְּמוֹ שֶׁמְּבֹאָר בְּמָקוֹם אַחֵר (בסי' סו אות א), וַאֲפִלּוּ הָרְחוֹקִים מְקַבְּלִין חִיּוּת מִמֶּנּוּ עַל־יְדֵי שֶׁמְּכַסֶּה עֲלֵיהֶם, כְּמוֹ הָאִילָן כַּנַּ"ל:
Similarly, in relation to the tzaddik there are [those] in the aspect of leaves, branches, etc., as is explained elsewhere. And even those who are distant receive vitality from him, by his shading them, like the tree, as explained above.
Подобно этому относительно Цадика есть [те], кто в аспекте листьев, ветвей и т. п., как объясняется в другом месте. И даже далёкие получают от него жизненность тем, что он осеняет их, как дерево, как объяснено выше.
