ב וְזֶה בְּחִינַת (דברים י״א:י״ג): וּלְעָבְדוֹ בְּכָל לְבַבְכֶם; אֵיזֶהוּ עֲבוֹדָה שֶׁבַּלֵּב זֶה תְּפִלָּה (תענית ב). כִּי תְּפִלָּה בְּחִינַת מַלְכוּת דָּוִד, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב (תהילים ק״ט:ד׳): וַאֲנִי תְּפִלָּה. וְעִקַּר הַתְּפִלָּה תָּלוּי בַּלֵּב, שֶׁיָּשִׂים כָּל לִבּוֹ עָלֶיהָ, שֶׁלֹּא יִהְיֶה בִּבְחִינַת (ישעיהו כ״ט:י״ג): בִּשְׂפָתָם כִּבְּדוּנִי וְלִבָּם רִחַק מִמֶּנִּי. כִּי תְּפִלָּה שֶׁבַּלֵּב הִיא בְּחִינַת הִתְגַּלּוּת מַלְכוּתוֹ בְּתוֹךְ הֶחָלָל הַפָּנוּי, בְּתוֹךְ הַמִּדּוֹת, בְּתוֹךְ הָעוֹלָמוֹת:
2. This corresponds to (Deuteronomy 11:13) “and serving Him with all your heart.” What is the service of the heart? It is prayer (Taanit 2a). For prayer is the aspect of the kingship of David, as it is written (Psalms 109:4), “but I am prayer.” And prayer, in the main, is dependent upon the heart. One should devote his entire heart to it, so that it is not in the aspect of ‘and they honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me’ (Isaiah 29:13). This is because prayer in the heart is the aspect of revealing His Kingship within the Vacated Space, within the attributes, within the worlds.
2. Это соответствует сказанному (Дварим 11:13): «и служить Ему всем вашим сердцем». Что такое служение сердца? Это — молитва (Таанит 2a). Ибо молитва — аспект царства Давида, как написано (Теилим 109:4): «а я — молитва». А молитва, в основном, зависит от сердца. Следует вложить в неё всё своё сердце, чтобы это не было в аспекте: «и чтут Меня устами своими, а сердце их далеко от Меня» (Йешаягу 29:13). Ибо молитва в сердце — аспект раскрытия Его Царства внутри Опустевшего Пространства, внутри качеств, внутри миров.
