15 ואילו הסתירות הנמצאות ברוב ספרי המחברים והמפרשים חוץ מן הנזכרים לעיל, הן מחמת הסיבה השישית. וכיוצא בזה יש במדרשות ובהגדות סתירות גדולות מחמת אותה סיבה, ולכן אומרים: "אין מקשין בהגדה". ויש בהם גם סתירות מחמת הסיבה השביעית.
Contradictions occurring in the writings of most authors and commentators, such as are not included in the above-mentioned works, are due to the sixth cause. Many examples of this class of contradictions are found in the Midrash and the Agada: hence the saying, “We must not raise questions concerning the contradictions met with in the Agada.” You may also notice in them contradictions due to the seventh cause.
15 А противоречия, находящиеся в большинстве книг авторов и комментаторов, кроме упомянутых выше, — они по причине шестой. И подобным образом есть в Мидрашах и Агадот большие противоречия по той же причине, и потому говорят: «אין מקשין בהגדה» («не задают трудности в агаде»). И есть в них также противоречия по причине седьмой.
