And great was the humility of my honored father, the genius (his resting place is in Eden). And he was clothed with all of its20The Torah’s ways and paths. I will tell a few of his ways related to the path of humility, in being with the despondent or extolling being with the humble (Sota 5a). Both of these were apparent in him to any who are worthy, for from his youth through his old age he gave his soul-Neffesh to revive the spirit-Ruakh of the lowly, financially and with the righteousness of his generosity, and to be with the oppressed. And it was his crowning jewel, because the desperately poor rejoiced, because he drew them close with his right hand, and expanded their hearts/minds with soothing words, and with graceful words that arose from his lips.
