הגהה: ודרך דרש אולי הוא כוונה שניי' במה שאמר ר"א לתלמידיו (ברכות כח ב) הזהרו בכבוד חבריכם שצריך זהירות שלא יוגבה לבו מהכבוד שחביריו נוהגים בו:
Annotation: And using an homiletic approach, perhaps this is the second intention of what Rabbee Eliezer stated to his students (Berakhot 28b): “Be mindful of your friends’ honor”—that they should be careful that their own hearts/ minds don’t become prideful beyond the degree of honor that their friends use in relating to them.
