וגם דמיתי לחבר מילין דאגדתא דיליה לדרושיו על פרקי אבות שהיה דורש שבת בשבתו במילין בסימין ושמו נאה לו רוח חיים. באשר מלאים רוח עצה ורוח בינה ודעת וחיים הם למוצאיהם:
And I also intended to compile some of his texts about his commentaries on Avot that he’d deliver each week on Shabbat, that I titled (referring to his name) as soul-Ruakh Chayyim, in that they are full of the soul-Ruakh of advice, and the soul-Ruakh of understanding and knowledge, and they are life77Heb.: chayyim to those who encounter them.
И также я думал составить слова аггады его к его толкованиям на „Пиркей Авот“, которые он толковал суббота за субботой — словами с намёками; и имя ему подходит: «Руах Хаим», ибо они полны духа совета и духа понимания и знания, и жизнью они для находящих их.
