When a person strengthens his roots that are of holiness, then the element of Fire in his heart/mind raises up his heart/mind in the ways of God, to cause his root to cling. And in the flashes of fire burns Y”H’s flame, and [he becomes] thirsty for Torah and worship per the context of (Tehillim 63:2): “my soul-Neffesh thirsts for You” and as is written (Yeshayahu 55:1): “ho—everyone who is thirsty, go to the water”. And it arouses the element of Water in his brain, which sprouts for him a fine intelligence in Torah and worship, and to rejoice over God in His commandments. And as is explained in the Raa-ya M’hemna (Pinkhas 227b): “‘God’s voice is over the waters’—From the perspective of Water, which is the brain that arises in the “wings” of the lungs. ‘God’s voice quarries with shafts of fire’—This is from the perspective of the heart/mind.” And it binds together the element of the Wind that are in the “wings” of the lungs that sit over the heart that pumps all kinds of fluids within the brain, and this is a sound comprised of Fire, Wind and Water to accomplish “And you shall contemplate it day and night”. And the element of Dust is a vessel that expresses the powers of the three holy elements, in speech and action. And within it can be observed scoffing and lethargy not to transgress (heaven forefend) God’s will (blessed be He), even regarding a minor prohibition, and depression over his iniquities.
