ולכן הראו דוגמא שכמו שלא נוכל להשכיל ולהבין איך שממעשה שפלה כענין זיווג נוצר מטיפה סרוחה בריה נפלאה וקומה שלימה מלא שכל רוחני להשיג ענינים נפלאים רוחנים וקדושים. כן לא נוכל להבין שורש אמתת תקוני העולמות והכחות עליונים המשתלבים באורות רוחני' ע"י מעשי המצות שהאדם עושה למטה בזה העולם השפל כפי שציונו ה' ית"ש* ועיין כוזרי מאמר ג' סימן כ"ג.
And for that reason they created this model. Just as we are unable to intellectually grasp or understand how from a lowly act like the matter of mating is formed, from a stinking drop, a miraculous being and a complete stature, imbued with a spiritual mind that can grasp wondrous spiritual and holy matters, so too we can’t understand the true root of the rectification of the supernal worlds and powers that interlace with spiritual lights via the performance of the mitzvote that a person does below in this lowly world, just as He (blessed be His name) [*] commanded us.
