וכ"ע מודים שכחות המזלות העליונים מתעוררים ליתן חלק באדם. כמאמר רז"ל האי מאן דבכוכב יהא גבר נהיר וחכי' וכו' האי מאן דבצדק יהא גבר צדקן וכו'. ועכ"ז אינם נותנים חלק מכחם אלא בהתעוררת מעשה הזיווג בפועל. כן הכחות מעולמות עליונים אין נותנים חלקם בחיים אלא לעומת מעשה האדם בפועל ממש במצות ובתלמוד תורה המביא לידי מעשה
And the entire world agrees that the powers of the supernal zodiac are aroused to supply a part of the person, as our sages (OBM) wrote (Shabbat 156a): “One who is from Venus will be a person who remembers well and wise… . One who is from Libra will be a person of justice…”. And even so, they contribute of their powers via the arousal resulting from the performance of the act of mating. So too, the powers from the supernal worlds do not contribute their parts during a lifetime unless it’s in response to the actual performance of a person’s actions, in mitzvote and Torah scholarship that brings one to action.
И все признают, что силы высших мазалот пробуждаются, чтобы дать долю в человеке, как сказали наши мудрецы: «тот, кто [родился] под Кохав — будет светлый муж и мудрый… тот, кто под Цэдек — будет праведный муж…» и т. д. И всё же они дают долю из своей силы лишь при пробуждении действия зивуга фактически. Так же и силы из высших Оламот (Миров) не дают своей доли в жизни иначе как соразмерно действию человека фактически — в заповедях и в изучении Торы, приводящем к действию.
