אֵת מַחְתּוֹת הַחַטָּאִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּנַפְשֹׁתָם. Он добавил «בְּנַפְשֹׁתָם» («против их душ») в связи с тем, на что я намекнул тебе выше.
את מחתות החטאים האלה בנפשותם, “the fire-pans of these people who sinned at the cost of their lives.” The reason the Torah added the word “against their souls” was to reinforce the point that they forfeited the lives of their souls in the hereafter.

אֵת מַחְתּוֹת הַחַטָּאִים הָאֵלֶּה בְּנַפְשֹׁתָם, «совки этих грешников — ценой их душ». Причина, по которой Torah добавила слова «против их душ», — чтобы усилить мысль о том, что они лишились жизни своей души в Олам а-Ба.
