וזכרת כי עבד היית בארץ מצרים. כמוהו. ויוציאך ה' אלהיך. בנסים מפורסמים המורים על חדוש העולם. על כן על הוראת החדוש, צוך לעשות את יום השבת.

וְזָכַרְתָּ כִּי עֶבֶד הָיִיתָ בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם — подобно этому. וַיּוֹצִאֲךָ ה׳ אֱלֹהֶיךָ — явными чудесами, указывающими на обновление мира. Поэтому, ради свидетельства об этом обновлении, Он повелел тебе соблюдать день Шаббат.
וזכרת כי עבד היית במצרים, “you shall remember (on the Sabbath) that you used to be a slave in Egypt, etc.” just like the slaves that you own now. ויוציאך ה’ אלו-היך, “and the Lord your G’d took you out;” with manifest miracles which attested that something like a rebirth of the universe had taken place, i.e. that it was your G’d who must have created the universe in the first place. על כן, “this is why;” He commanded you to observe the Sabbath day as reminder that G’d created the universe and it did not precede Him as proven by His orchestrating the Exodus.

וְזָכַרְתָּ כִּי עֶבֶד הָיִיתָ בְמִצְרַיִם — «и помни (в Шаббат), что ты был рабом в Египте и т.д.», — подобно рабам, которыми ты владеешь ныне. וַיּוֹצִאֲךָ ה׳ אֱלֹהֶיךָ — «и вывел тебя Г‑сподь, Бог твой»; явными чудесами, свидетельствующими, что произошло как бы «обновление» мироздания, то есть что именно твой Бог должен был сотворить мироздание изначально. עַל כֵּן — «поэтому»; Он повелел тебе соблюдать день Шаббат как напоминание, что Бог сотворил мир и мир не предшествовал Ему, — что доказано тем, как Он устроил Исход.
