והיה ביום הששי והכינו. ששי היה לירידת המן ולששת ימי בראשית שהרי באחד בשבת התחיל המן לירד וזה נתבאר למעלה.

[2] «וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי וְהֵכִינוּ». Шестой — и по отношению к нисхождению мана, и по отношению к шести дням Берешит, ведь в первый день недели ман начал нисходить, и это разъяснено выше.
והיה ביום הששי והכינו, “it will be on the sixth day when they prepare, etc.” This was the sixth day after the manna had started falling, as well as the sixth day of the week. It had begun to fall on the first day of the week as we explained on verse 1.

[3] «וְהָיָה בַּיּוֹם הַשִּׁשִּׁי וְהֵכִינוּ», — «и будет: в шестой день, когда они приготовят и т.д.». Это был шестой день с начала нисхождения мана, а также шестой день недели. Ман начал нисходить в первый день недели, как мы объяснили к стиху 1.
