לעולם ינוס אדם מנסו כי שמא אין עושין לו נס ואם עושין מנכין לו מזכיותיו וגדול זכות יפה תואר המתגבר על יצרו יותר משאינו יפה לפי שאינו מקובל לנשים:

Greater is the merit of a handsome man who overwhelms his evil inclination more so than one who is not handsome, because he (the latter) is not acceptable to women.
Пусть всегда бежит человек от испытания, ибо, быть может, не совершат для него чуда. А если совершат — вычтут из его заслуг. И велика заслуга красивого человека, преодолевающего своё дурное начало, — более, чем некрасивого, поскольку тот непривлекателен для женщин.
