אל יכנס אדם לשבת כשהוא מעונה לפיכך אין להתענות בע"ש סמוך להדלקת הנר יטעום תבשילו והזוכה מתענה ומשלים:

Пусть не входит человек в субботу голодным. Поэтому не следует поститься в канун субботы. Незадолго до зажигания свечей пусть попробует свою еду. А удостоившийся — постится и завершает пост.
