בעיר אחת באו איש ובנו וציוה האב לבנו כשיקרא בתורה שלא ילך על ברכיו לנשק כי היו הרבה שם שלא היו להם בנים וציוה לבנו כן כדי שלא יהא להם עגמת נפש:
A father and a son came to a city whereupon the farher commanded his son that during the time he will be reading The Torah he shouldn't get down on his knees and go kiss the Torah for there were many people there who didn't have sons and he commanded so in that he won't cause them distress.
В одном городе пришли мужчина и его сын, и велел отец сыну, чтобы когда его вызовут к Торе — не подходил на коленях целовать свиток, ибо было там много бездетных. И велел сыну так, чтобы не было им огорчения.
