החלק הראשון, בהנהגת דרך החסידות והפרישות, המביאה לידי רוח הקודש, ויתחלק גם הוא לששה שערים. החלק השני, בתוכחות, ובביאור העונש והשכר של מצוות עשה ומצוות לא תעשה, ונחלק לשמונה שערים. והחלק השלישי, בהנהגת השגת רוח הקודש עצמו, ויתחלק לשמונה שערים. והחלק הרביעי, באופני היחודים עצמם, אשר על ידם יושג רוח הקודש, כאשר בחנתי ונסיתי, ונתאמתו על ידי:
Part One – Regarding saintly and ascetic conduct that leads to the attainment of the Holy Spirit. This part is divided into six gates. Part Two – Words of rebuke, including an explanation of reward and punishment in connection to the positive and negative commandments-mitzvot. This part is divided into eight gates. Part Three – Regarding how to attain the Holy Spirit. This part is divided into eight parts. Part Four – Regarding methods of meditative “unifications” (Yichudim) through which the Holy Spirit may be attained. I have personally tried and tested these and have found them to be effective. However, I will only enumerate their details briefly, by way of signposts that point the way.
Часть первая — о ведении пути хасидута (благочестия) и пришут (отделения), приводящих к Руах аКодеш, и она также разделена на шесть врат. Часть вторая — об увещеваниях и разъяснении наказания и воздаяния за заповеди-повеления и заповеди-запреты, и разделена на восемь врат. Часть третья — о ведении достижения самого Руах аКодеш, и разделена на восемь врат. Часть четвёртая — о способах самих единений (йихудим), посредством которых достигается Руах аКодеш, как я испытал и проверил, и они подтвердились через меня.
