8 And with this, it will be understood that on Rosh Hashanah, Yosef was released from prison. That is to say, after Yosef understood on Rosh Hashanah that the word הש"נה has the same gematria as שט"ן , with one extra aleph, which is the Chief of the Universe, and that is Rosh Hashanah, who is concealed even within the shells, which are associated with Satan, as in the secret of 'and His kingdom rules over all' (Psalms 103:19), to subdue the klipot, and thus it is Rosh Hashana, and when he knew this all evil was dispersed, for the klipot were a prison for the Shechinah, so, too, in the physical sense, Yosef left the prison when he shattered the klipot through this very awareness. And this is what is meant by 'He made it a testimony in Joseph' (Psalms 81:6), through this knowledge, the letter heh was added to him, so that he would be called Yehosef; this is the secret of daat (knowledge), which is associated with the divine name Y-H-V, as is known, and this is his name as he went forth over the land of Egypt; understand this well.
