ונראה לי, דכתבתי לעיל מזה, בא נא אל שפחתי אולי אבנה ממנה (בראשית טז, ב), כי העוסק בתורה ובעבודה שלא לשמה על מנת לקבל פרס הוא בסוד עבד ושפחה, והעוסק לשמה נקרא בן הגבירה וכו'.
