וְהִתְבּוֹנַנְתִּי בְּמָה שֶׁרָאוּי לָאֶחָד הָאֱמֶת מִן הָאַדְנוּת וּמָה שֶׁחַיָּבִים בְּרִיּוֹתָיו בּוֹ מֵעֲבוֹדָתוֹ שַׂמְתִּי קַבָּלַת עֲבוֹדַת הָאֱלֹהִים שֹׁרֶשׁ שְׁלִישִׁי לַכְּלָל מֵחוֹבוֹת הַלְּבָבוֹת.
I then reflected on the sovereignty belonging to the true Unity, and what service is correspondingly due to Him from His creatures. I therefore set the assuming of His service as the third root of the general principles of the duties of the heart.
И я размышлял о том, что подобает истинному Единому в Его господстве, и о том, чем обязаны Его творения в служении Ему. И я сделал принятие на себя служения Б-гу третьим корнем в общей совокупности обязанностей сердец.
