ענין ברכות המצוות: ואולם גם במעשה המצות תיקנו לנו חכמים ברכות אלה לחיבובה של המצוה להודות לו ית׳ שרצה בנו ונתן לנו תיקונים גדולים כאלה ונמצא עי״ז מתעלה המעשה יותר ונעזר בו האדם ממנו ית׳ כי כן היא המידה כפי ההתעוררות שמתעוררים בני האדם אליו ית׳ כן יהיה שיעור העזר שיעזרו ממנו אם מעט ואם הרבה בכל פועל שיהיה כפי מה שהוא ובוטח בה׳ אשריו:
Regarding blessings over the commandments: However the Sages also ordained these blessings for us with the performance of commandments, for the sak of endearing the commandment - to thank Him, may He be blessed, for wanting us and giving us such great refinements as these. And it comes out that through this, the act is more elevated, such that man is helped by Him, may He be blessed. For this is the rule: According to people's arousal towards Him, may He be blessed, so is the measure of help that He helps them - whether a little or a great deal - in any act whatsoever, according to what it is. And happy is the one who trusts in God.
Суть благословений на заповеди. Также и при исполнении заповедей мудрецы установили для нас эти благословения — из любви к заповеди, чтобы возблагодарить Его, благословен Он, за то, что Он возжелал нас и дал нам столь великие средства исправления. Благодаря этому действие возвышается ещё более, и человек получает от Него, благословен Он, большую помощь, ибо таково правило: в какой мере люди пробуждаются к Нему, благословен Он, в такой мере будет и помощь, которую они от Него получат — мало ли, много ли — в каждом действии, каково бы оно ни было. И уповающий на Господа — блажен он.
