והנה הכינה החכמה העליונה לאדם מה שישתדל בו בבוקר ויתרומם ממה שנשפל במצב הלילה ליטהר ממה שנטמא וכן ישוב וירומם העולם כלו ממה שנשפל ויאיר אותו מן החשך שהוחשך. וענין זה כלו נכלל בתקנות הנתקנות לזמן הקימה מן הפעולות ומן הדיבורים וכמ״ש בס״ד:
And see that the Supreme Wisdom set up for man, that he make efforts in the morning and elevate himself from being in a degraded state at night; to purify himself from having become impure. He [must] bring the whole world back and elevate it from that which it was degraded and bring light to it from the darkness with which it was darkened. And this matter is completely included in the ordinances - of acts and of words - that were ordained for the time of rising up, as we will write with God's help.
Высшая Мудрость подготовила для человека то, чем он должен заняться утром, дабы подняться из того низкого состояния, в которое он опустился за ночь, — очиститься от того, чем осквернился. Также и мир в целом он должен вновь поднять из его понижения и осветить его от той тьмы, которой он был объят. Всё это заключено в установлениях, предписанных для времени пробуждения, — как в действиях, так и в речениях, как будет сказано далее, с Божьей помощью.
