והנה לפי שרש זה זמן הגמול האמיתי דהיינו זמן קיבול השכר שזכרנו למעלה ומקומו הוא אחר התחיה בעולם שיתחדש והאדם יהנה בו בגופו ובנשמתו בהיות גופו מזוכך ע״י נשמתו ומוכן על ידה להיות נהנה בטוב ההוא ואולם יבחנו שם האנשים ותתחלף מדריגתם ומעלתם כפי השיעור מה שטרחו בעולם העבודה וכפי מה שהשתדלו להשיג מן השלימות כי כפי שיעור זה תזדהר הנשמה בעצמה ותאיר בגוף ותזככהו ויקנו שניהם יקר ומעלה ויהיו ראוים להתקרב אל האדון ב״ה וליאור באור פניו וליהנות בטובו האמיתי:
And behold according to this root concept, the time of the true repayment - meaning the time of receiving the reward, that we mentioned above - and its place, is after the resurrection in the world that will be renewed. And man will enjoy it with his body and his soul, in that his body will be purified by the soul and prepared by it to enjoy that good. Yet people will be distinguished and their levels and positions will differ, according to the measure of that which they toiled in the world of work, and according to that [which] they strove to access perfection. For the soul will shine according to this measure, and light up the body and purify it. And both of them will acquire preciousness and stature and be fitting to approach the Master, blessed be He, to be lit by the light of His countenance and to enjoy His true good.
Согласно этому принципу, время истинного воздаяния, то есть время получения награды, о котором мы упоминали выше, и его место — после воскрешения, в обновлённом мире. И человек будет наслаждаться в нём телом и душою, когда его тело будет очищено его душою и подготовлено ею к наслаждению тем благом. Однако люди будут там различаемы, и их ступень и достоинство будут различаться в зависимости от меры того, как они трудились в мире служения, и в зависимости от того, сколь они старались обрести совершенство. Ибо сообразно этой мере душа засияет сама по себе и озарит тело, и очистит его, и оба обретут славу и достоинство и станут достойными приблизиться к Господину, благословен Он, и озариться светом Его лика, и наслаждаться Его истинным благом.
