יחודו: וממה שצריך שידע עוד שהמצוי הזה ית״ש מוכרח שיהיה א׳ ולא יותר פי׳ שא״א שימצאו מצויים רבים שמציאותם מוכרח מעצמו אלא א׳ בלבד צריך שימצא במציאות המוכרח והשלם הזה ואם שימצאו נמצאים אחרים לא ימצאו אלא מפני שהוא ימציאם ברצונו ונמצאים כלם תלוים בו ולא מצוים מעצמם:
His Unity: And it is also required for one to know that it is necessary for this Being, may His name be blessed, to be one and not more. The explanation of this is that it is impossible for there to exist many beings the existence of which is independently necessary. Rather this necessary and perfect Existence must be only one. And if there exist other beings, they only exist because He made them exist with His will; so it comes out that they are all dependent on Him, and not existing from themselves.
Его единственность: Из того, что ещё необходимо знать, — что этот Сущий, да будет Он благословен, необходимо должен быть Одним, и не более. Это означает, что невозможно существование множества сущих, чьё бытие необходимо само по себе, — лишь Один должен существовать в этом необходимом и совершенном бытии. А если существуют иные сущности, они существуют лишь потому, что Он создаёт их по Своей воле, и все они зависят от Него, а не существуют сами по себе.
