בכסליו הוא חנוכה, כי כסליו הוא נגד יעקב ועל ידי יעקב הם הניסים כנודע ולכן היה נס בחודש הזה והוא חודש השלישי מתשרי התחלת שנה שהוא נגד לוי שלישי שבשבטים ולכן היה בו הנס על ידי הכהנים חשמונאי ובניו שכהנים הם שבט לוי:
In Kislev falls Chanukah. Kislev corresponds to Yaakov, and through Yaakov came miracles, as it is known, and therefore a miracle happened in this month, which is the third month counting the beginning of the year from Tishrei. [Kislev] corresponds to Levi in tribes, and therefore a miracle happened through the hands of the Kohanim, the Hasmonean and his sons, since the kohanim are from the tribe of Levi.
В кислеве — Ханука. Ибо кислев соответствует Яакову, а через Яакова совершаются чудеса, как известно. Поэтому чудо произошло именно в этом месяце. Он является третьим месяцем от тишрея — начала года, что соответствует Леви, третьему из колен. Потому и чудо в нём совершилось через священников — Хашмонаев и их сыновей, ведь коэны принадлежат к колену Леви.
