אלא שבנתינה זו נתן לנו הקב"ה את ההזדמנות לגאולה, דהיינו להטהר ולהתקדש ולקבל עלינו עבודת ה' בתורה ובמצוות לשמה. אז יבנה בית המקדש ונקבל את הארץ לרשותנו, ואז נחוש ונרגיש בשמחת הגאולה. אבל כל עוד שלא באנו לזה, שום דבר לא נשתנה, ואין שום הפרש בין נימוסי הארץ עתה מכפי שהיתה עדיין תחת ידי זרים, הן במשפט הן בכלכלה והן בעבודת ה', ואין לנו אלא הזדמנות לגאולה.
But with this giving, the Holy One, blessed be He, gave us the chance for redemption, that is, to be purified and sanctified and accept upon us God’s service through engaging in the Torah and the commandments for their own sake. Then will the Temple be built and we will receive the land as our own, and sense and feel the joy of redemption. But as long as we do not reach it, nothing will change and there will be no difference between the customs of the land now and as they used to be under foreign rule in law, economy, and God’s service; and we have but the opportunity for redemption.
Но этим дарованием Святой, благословен Он, дал нам возможность избавления, то есть очиститься и освятиться, и принять на себя служение Г-споду в Торе и заповедях лишма. Тогда будет построен Храм, и мы получим Землю в наше владение, и тогда мы ощутим и почувствуем радость избавления. Но пока мы не пришли к этому, ничего не изменилось, и нет никакой разницы между порядками Земли сейчас и тем, как они были, когда она ещё находилась под властью чужих, — ни в правосудии, ни в экономике, ни в служении Г-споду. И у нас есть лишь возможность избавления.
