וְזֶה: וְהָיָה עֵקֶב תִּשְׁמְעוּן אֵת הַמִּשְׁפָּטִים הָאֵלֶּה (דברים ז). עֵקֶב – בְּחִינַת רַגְלִין, וְרַגְלִין הֵם בְּחִינַת הַמּוֹכִיחִים כַּנַּ"ל, וְלָהֶם מְגַלִּים הַדִּינִים, וְהֵם מוֹכִיחִים אֶת הַדּוֹר. וְזֶה: וְהָיָה עֵקֶב תִּשְׁמְעוּן – הַיְנוּ, שֶׁמִּבְּחִינַת רַגְלִין, הַיְנוּ הַמּוֹכִיחִים, תִּשְׁמְעוּן אֵת הַמִּשְׁפָּטִים הָאֵלֶּה, הַיְנוּ הַדִּינִים, כִּי לָהֶם מְגַלִּים אוֹתָם כַּנַּ"ל, וְהֵם מוֹכִיחִים בָּזֶה אֶת הַדּוֹר כַּנַּ"ל:
15. This is (Deuteronomy 7:12), “Ekev (In the end), if you will listen to these laws.” “Ekev” corresponds to the feet. And feet is synonymous with those who rebuke, as mentioned above. The judgments are revealed to them, and they rebuke the generation. Thus “Ekev (the heel), if you will listen.” That is, from the concept of the feet/those who rebuke, “you will listen to these laws”—the judgments. For they are revealed to them, and with this they rebuke the generation.
15. Это (Дварим 7:12): «И будет: экев (в конце), если будете слушать эти законы». «Экев» соответствует стопам. А стопы — синоним тех, кто делает выговор (обличает), как упомянуто выше. Им раскрываются суды, и они делают выговор поколению. Итак: «Экев (пята), если будете слушать». То есть из понятия стоп/тех, кто делает выговор: «будете слушать эти законы» — суды. Ибо они раскрываются им, и этим они обличают поколение.
