כָּל הַקּוֹלוֹת הֵם בְּחִינַת עַזּוּת. קוֹל הַמּוֹכִיחַ הוּא בְּחִינַת קוֹל שׁוֹפָר, כְּמוֹ שֶׁכָּתוּב (ישעיהו נ״ח:א׳): כַּשּׁוֹפָר הָרֵם קוֹלֶךָ, וְכֵן קוֹל נְגִינָה. וְזֶה בְּחִינַת (תהילים ל״ג:ג׳): הֵיטִיבוּ נַגֵּן בִּתְרוּעָה. קוֹל הַנִּגּוּן הוּא בְּחִינַת תְּרוּעָה, בְּחִינַת שׁוֹפָר, בְּחִינַת: וְאַתָּה תִרְעֶה אֶת עַמִּי, כַּנַּ"ל:
16. And all sounds are the concept of boldness. The voice of the one who rebukes corresponds to the sound of the shofar, as is written (Isaiah 58:1), “Lift up your voice like a shofar.” The same is true of the sound of music, as in (Psalms 33:3), “Play skillfully, with a blast.” The sound of music is synonymous with a TeRuAh (blast)/a shofar, corresponding to, “You TiR’ AeH (shall tend) my people,” as above.
16. И всякие звуки — это понятие дерзновения. Голос того, кто обличает, соответствует звуку шофара, как написано (Йешаягу 58:1): «Возвысь голос твой, как шофар». Так же и звук музыки, как (Теилим 33:3): «Играйте искусно, с тру’а (звучным возгласом)». Звук музыки — синоним тру’а/шофара, соответствуя: «Ты тир’э (будешь пасти) Мой народ», как выше.
