וְזֶה בְּחִינַת הַגַּן עֵדֶן, בְּחִינַת מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן. גַּן הוּא בְּחִינַת הַנֶּפֶשׁ, בְּחִינַת (ירמיהו ל״א:י״ב): וְהָיְתָה נַפְשָׁם כְּגַן רָוֶה. עֵדֶן הוּא בְּחִינַת הַתַּכְלִית. כִּי עֵדֶן עַיִן לֹא רָאֲתָה (כמו שאמרו רז"ל ברכות לד:), בְּחִינַת בִּטּוּל כַּנַּ"ל:
8. The [field in which souls grow] corresponds to the Garden of Eden, the aspect of Moshe and Aharon. The Garden corresponds to the soul, as in “their soul will be like a well-watered garden” (Jeremiah 31:11). Eden corresponds to the ultimate goal [of Creation], for Eden—“no eye has seen it” (as taught by the Sages in Berakhot 34b) ; this being the aspect of self-transcendence, as explained above.
8. [Поле, в котором растут души] соответствует Ган Эден, аспекту Моше и Аарона. Сад соответствует душе, как сказано: «и будет их душа как орошаемый сад» (Ирмеягу 31:11). А Эден соответствует конечной цели [Творения], ибо Эден — «глаз не видел» (как учили наши Мудрецы в Брахот 34b); и это — аспект самопревосхождения, как объяснено выше.
