וְזֶה פֵּרוּשׁ הַפָּסוּק:
6. This is also the explanation of the [opening] verse: {“May God bless us; and let the fear of Him [be unto] all the æphsei (ends) of the earth.”}
6. Это также объяснение [начального] стиха: {«Да благословит нас Бог; и да будет страх перед Ним [у] всех афсей (краёв) земли».}
יְבָרְכֵנוּ אֱלֹקִים וְיִירְאוּ אוֹתוֹ. כְּלוֹמַר: כִּי הַבְּרָכָה, כְּשֶׁיִּהְיֶה בִּבְחִינַת יִרְאָה,
May God bless us; and let the fear of Him—that is, when the blessing is in the aspect of fear,
Да благословит нас Бог; и да будет страх перед Ним — то есть, когда благословение находится в аспекте страха,
כָּל אַפְסֵי אָרֶץ. כְּלוֹמַר: כָּל אַרְצִיּוּת נַעֲשִׂים אֶפֶס, כְּמָה שֶׁכָּתוּב: וְהָיוּ לְבָשָׂר אֶחָד:
all the ÆPhSei of the earth—all earthiness will become EPheS (nullified). This is as it is written, “and they become one flesh.”
всех АФСЕЙ земли — вся земность станет ЭФЕС (аннулированной). Как сказано: «и станут они одной плотью».
