ו. כשיבא לו ח"ו מחשבה רעה מניאוף, יאמר כמה פעמים "ונשמרת מכל דבר רע", ויהרהר אז בדרשות חז"ל שדרשו עליו שלא יהרהר אדם ביום ויבא לידי קרי בלילה, ולא יניח ח"ו לשהות המחשבה רעה במוחו שלא לטמאות שכל העליון ח"ו:
If, G-d forbid the evil thought of lust comes to ones mind, he should say several times "And you shall be guarded from all evil," and think then about the exegesis of our sages, of blessed memory that one should not think lustful thoughts in the day and come to night emissions, and not allow, G-d forbid, to keep this bad thought in ones mind so as not to defile the divine intelligence (within him) , G-d forbid.
6. Если придёт к нему, упаси Боже, дурная мысль о прелюбодеянии, пусть скажет несколько раз: «И остерегайся от всякого дурного» — и пусть размышляет тогда об изречениях мудрецов наших, благословенна их память, которые толковали этот стих так: чтобы не помышлял человек днём и не пришёл к нечистоте ночью. И пусть не допустит, упаси Боже, задерживаться дурной мысли в сознании своём, дабы не осквернить высший разум, упаси Боже.
