שער ראשון יחסנו אותו בשם עשר ולא תשע מפני שבו יתבאר איך היתה הסכמה בקבלת חכמינו וזקננו ונביאנו הספירות הם עשר ולא תשע ולא אחד עש' ומנין פרקיו י' פרק א בביאור משנ' ס"י ע"ס בלי מה מספר עשר וכו'
First Gate. We named it "Ten and Not Nine", because it explains how there was agreement among our sages, elders, and prophets in the understanding that the Sefirot are ten and not nine or eleven. The Gate comprises 10 chapters. Chapter 1 is the explanation of the Mishna in Sefer Yetzira 1:3 "Ten is the number of the ineffable Sefirot. They number ten, etc."
Врата первые мы назвали именем «Десять, а не девять», ибо в них разъясняется, как было единодушие в предании мудрецов наших, старцев наших и пророков наших, что Сфирот — десять, а не девять и не одиннадцать. И число глав его — десять. Глава 1 — в разъяснении мишны из «Сефер Йецира»: «Десять Сфирот без-что, число десять и т.д.»

Chapter 2 is the explanation of the same Mishna (Sefer Yetzira 1:3) with a different approach, and other sections from the Tikkunei Zohar.
