אמר החכם מי שזורע את השנאה יקצור את החרטה אחרית קטטה חרטה המתן מעט ולא תתחרט הלצנות מעביר המורא והיא שנייה לעבירה וכל המתלוצץ נופל בגיהנם ואינו זוכה להקביל פני שכינה כמו שדרשו רז"ל מן המקראות במה יתנקם אדם משונאו יוסיף מעלה יתירה בעצמו. המתקן בינו לבין הבורא יתקן הבורא בינו לבין בני אדם:

Сказал мудрец: сеющий ненависть пожнёт раскаяние. Конец ссоры — раскаяние. Подожди немного — и не пожалеешь. Насмешничество устраняет страх Божий, и оно — второе после греха. И всякий насмешник падает в Геином и не удостаивается встретить лик Шхины, как толковали мудрецы, благословенна их память, из Писания. Чем отомстит человек своему врагу? Пусть прибавит лишнее достоинство самому себе. Тот, кто исправляет отношения между собой и Творцом — Творец исправит его отношения с людьми.
