א"ל עד כאן חמשה מכאן ואילך מאי, א"ל אני אפרש תחלה זהב, מאי זהב, מלמד שממנו יוצא הדין, ואם תטה דבריך ימין ושמאל נזהר ממך:
They [the students] said to him [Rabbi Berachiah], "Until here, five. From here and onwards, what?" He said to them, "I will explain gold first. Why gold? It teaches that judgment comes out from it. And if you incline your words the right or the left, you will be admonished by it."
Сказал ему: до сих пор — пять. А далее — что? Сказал ему: сначала я объясню золото (заав). Что такое заав? Это учит, что из него исходит суд. И если отклонишь слова свои вправо или влево, остережёт тебя.
