The flowing of living waters, which refers to the concept of **Tzimtzum** (צמצום), is essentially the Kli (כלי, Vessel). For example, when a spring flows into a vessel, it is not possible to benefit from the waters unless they are contained within a vessel that limits and shapes the flow. This is the function of the Kli, which constrains the abundance of the flow.
The Tzimtzum of the **Or Ein Sof** (אור אין סוף, Infinite Light) was also created through the aspect of **Gevurah** (גבורה, Severity), which acts as a limiting force. This Tzimtzum is the root concept of the Kelim, which contain and limit the light so that it can be utilized.
Thus, the concept of Tzimtzum is the creation of a boundary or limitation that allows the light to be contained and used effectively. The Kelim are what enable us to receive and use the light. They are the vessels that make it possible to draw from the abundance and apply it in a structured manner.
