אֲבָל אִם הוּא מַכִּיר לְפִי הָעִנְיָן, שֶׁהַמְחֻתָּן מְרַמֶּה לֶחָתָן בְּעִנְיַן הַנָּדָן {נדוניה} אוֹ הַמְּזוֹנוֹת, מְּאֹד וּמְאֹד צָּרִיךְ לְהִתְיַשֵּׁב בַּדָּבָר, קֹדֶם שֶׁיְּגַלֶּה זֶה לֶחָתָן, כִּי צָרִיךְ לָזֶה הַרְבֵּה פְּרָטִים:
