וְאָמַר בְּמִי שֶׁאֵין תּוֹכוֹ כְּבָרוֹ (מלכים א יא) וְלֹא הָיָה לְבָבוֹ שָׁלֵם עִם ה׳ אֱלֹהָיו וְאָמַר (תהלים עח) וַיְפַתּוּהוּ בְּפִיהֶם וּבִלְשׁוֹנָם יְכַזְּבוּ לוֹ וְלִבָּם לֹא נָכוֹן עִמּוֹ וְגוֹ׳.
On the other hand, one whose inner [being] is not consistent with his outer [life] is condemned by Scripture, as written: "his heart was not whole with the L-ord, his G-d" (Kings 11:4), and "but they flatter Him with their mouths and lied with their tongues. For their heart was not steadfast with Him" (Ps. 78:36).
И сказал о том, чьё внутреннее не соответствует внешнему (Млахим I, 11): «И не было сердце его цельным с Г-сподом, Б-гом его». И сказано (Теилим 78): «И обольщали Его устами своими, и языком своим лгали Ему. А сердце их не было верным Ему» и т.д.
