ואולם אחר זה יבואו שני מעשים אשר כבר הם בעצמם מכלל התרי״ג מצות ומתחברים עם תיקוני התפילה להשלמת העבודה היומיית והם הציצית והתפילין. ונבאר בתחלה ענינים הפרטי ואח״כ נבאר מדריגתם בתיקוני העבודה היומיית שזכרנו:
After this, however, come two acts that are even included in the 613 commandments on their own; but they are [also] connected with the practices of prayer, to complete the daily service. And they are fringes (tsitsit) and tefillin. But we will first explain their specific contents; and afterwards, we will explain their levels in the practices of the daily service that we mentioned.
После этого следуют два действия, которые сами по себе входят в число 613 заповедей и соединяются с исправлениями молитвы для завершения ежедневного служения. Это цицит и тфилин. Сначала мы разъясним их частный смысл, а затем — их ступень в исправлениях ежедневного служения, о которых мы упоминали.
